Then and Now…
November 6, 2009
We’ve had some great sessions this week. It’s always fun to see what interesting ideas customers come up with for their photos.
The Joneses, long-time customers who have since moved out-of-state, made a special trip on their way back from New York to photograph their six year old son. Like his three older brothers before him, he was photographed at the age of six in the same outfit (that Mom has kept stored away), with the same set in basically the same pose by the same photographer, Mr. George. We searched the vaults and found negatives from the 1999 sessions and scanned them for a side by side comparison. They’re not exactly the same, though the photographs do capture each of the boy’s personalities. Kudos to mom for some serious planning ahead.

and today!
Another “then and now” story unfolded this week. The Wests had a portrait done of their two sons and 10-year-old Golden Lab, Penny. The Wests have been great customers over the years. The Wests brought Penny into the studio when she was a puppy, for a session with the boys, and Penny just wanted to lie on the floor. So, the boys joined her. Again, we dug into the archives for this ten-year-old shot.

We really appreciate the loyalty of our customers and are glad that they keep coming back! This week, we also photographed a one-year-old for her baby panel whose mom we also photographed as a baby. We’d post those “then and now” shots, but we’d really have to dig into the archives for those!
